Tippers
Allegheny tippers are designed to increase your throughput volume and make your shredding jobs much easier and more efficient. Our tippers are operator controlled with a momentary selector switch that allows power-up/gravity-down operation so that the operator can control the amount of material loaded onto the feed table or into an Allegheny Auto-Feed™ System. Allegheny offers two types of tippers – the 880 Tipper and the HLS Tipper.
Accompany the Allegheny 16-Series or 100-Series Industrial Shredder. It will accommodate 64- through 96-gallon security containers and 55-gallon drums. It lifts up to 500 lbs.
Are designed to accompany 100-Series and 1000-Series Industrial Shredder or an Allegheny Auto-Feed™ System. In addition to the containers mentioned for the 880 Tipper, the HLS Tipper can receive loading carts and a single Gaylord box weighing up to 2,000 lbs. A number of optional features are available to improve the capacity of the HLS Tipper, including the Allegheny Auto-Tip (automatic full up/down cycling of the tipper, controls can be mounted remotely); the Allegheny Fast-Tip, for high speed ‘dump and run’ of your documents; and a Laser Safety Scanner for operator safety and more efficient loading.
Conveyors
Allegheny offers a range of custom-manufactured conveyors designed to optimize the flow of materials into and out of your industrial destruction equipment. From sorting conveyors that enhance recycling value by separating paper by grade, to metering conveyors that regulate feed rates for maximum throughput, each system is tailored to support your operation’s needs. In-floor and mobile pit conveyors provide low-effort loading solutions, while output conveyors ensure smooth transfer of shredded materials to a baler, dumpster, or other receptacles—boosting both productivity and safety.
Horizontal Paper Balers
Allegheny’s high-performance paper balers are engineered to maximize your recycling profits by turning shredded paper into dense, high-quality bales that are easy to store, transport, and sell. Designed to integrate seamlessly with our 16-Series, 100-Series, and 1000-Series Industrial Shredders, our complete line includes heavy-duty horizontal closed-end, manual-tie balers and open-end, auto-tie balers. Built with precision and safety in mind using top-grade American steel, these balers reduce labor costs, free up storage space, and boost the profitability of your recycling operation—especially with models like the 3430-2572 CE capable of producing mill-size bales ready for market.
Auto-Feed Systems
Allegheny’s revolutionary Auto-Feed™ System is designed to dramatically boost shredding capacity while slashing labor costs by automating the paper feeding process into your industrial shredder. Featuring a high-capacity primary conveyor paired with a variable-speed metering conveyor, this system delivers a steady, jam-free flow of paper—maximizing shredder performance and minimizing operator effort. For hands-free operation, the Advanced Auto-Feed™ System adds a metering drum for precise paper regulation, enabling one operator to do the work of two or three.
Off-Loading System for Trucks
Allegheny’s integrated two-conveyor Off-Loading System for mobile trucks allows you to easily capture recycling profits without the complexities of installing an in-floor pit. Designed for mobile shredding services, this innovative system directly transfers shredded paper from the truck onto a primary conveyor, which then feeds the material into a second inclined metering conveyor, sending it straight into a baler.
