Questions and answers

Choosing & sizing

What's the difference between the Hard Drive Shredders and the SelecShred™ line?

Hard Drive Shredders destroy hard drives. The SelecShred™ line adds a split-feed opening that takes both hard drives and SSDs in one pass.

Can one machine handle more than one material?

Often, yes. The particle-cut machines shred paper, cardboard, plastic and hard drives; SelecShred™ takes both HDD and SSD. Get in touch to find out more.

Not sure what I need — can you help me choose?

Absolutely. Tell us your material, volume and floor space and we'll recommend the right machine, or design a custom line.

Machines & specs

Do you destroy SSDs as well as hard drives?

Yes — the SelecShred™ line destroys both HDDs and SSDs in a single split-feed pass.

Can I get a full spec sheet?

Yes — request one from any machine page or the contact form and we'll send the PDF.

What power supply do the machines need?

Typically 230V or 460V, 3-phase, 60 Hz. We'll confirm the exact requirement for your model.

Are the machines mobile?

Some models can be truck-installed for mobile or on-site destruction.

Can you build a custom system?

Yes. Custom Systems is a core part of what we do — we engineer complete lines around your floor.

Security & compliance

Do your machines meet standards like NIST 800-88 or DIN 66399?

We build to recognized destruction standards. Tell us the standard you work to and we'll confirm exactly how a machine meets it.

Do you have an NSA/CSS EPL listing?

No — we don't claim EPL listing or imply endorsement. We build to the spec and can put you in touch with our certified partners.

Is the output secure enough for classified or PHI material?

We build to common secure standards and specifications. Reach out to find out more.

What certifications do you hold?

We're an i-SIGMA Corporate Partner, our machines are made in the USA, and they carry a 1-year warranty. We'll confirm anything further directly rather than claim what we can't back.

Do you offer preventive-maintenance plans?

Do you sell direct as the manufacturer or do I need to go through a dealer?
